The first day of our trip will take you along one of the most beautiful routes in Scotland and show you several classic treasures.

After leaving the capital in the morning, our first stop will be a short photo stop at the 13th-century Doune Castle, which has already been the location for several films and series (e.g. Game of Thrones, Monty Python, Outlander). We will then take a short drive to our first adventurous venue, the Glengoyne Distillery, where we will have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the mysteries of whiskey production and finally taste the coveted drink.

From here, we cross through the heart of Loch Lomond National Park and relax in the afternoon with a pleasant lunch in the tiny but lovely town of Inveraray. We not only have the opportunity to try some local, fresh delicaces, but we can also take a look around the luxurious Inveraray Castle and its colourful garden.

Further on, we’ll get to know the typical Scottish landscape, and on the way through the historic sites, we’ll listen to the story of Rob Roy and William Wallace. At the mystical ruins of Kilchurn Castle, we set up a photo opportunity and soon arrive in the deservedly famous Glencoe area.

Then, turning west, we get closer and closer to our destination, the island of Skye. In the evening we occupy our accommodation in Portree, where we end the day with a few hours of free time.

The second day of our trip is entirely dedicated to the discovery of Skye.

After breakfast at the hotel, head to the island’s famous Neist Point Lighthouse for a breathtaking view. Continuing, we arrive at Dunvegan’s iconic castle, where there is an opportunity to delve deeper into its history.

Moving further north from here, we spent some time at Fairy Glen, whose name is a good indication of the special, mystical radiance of the place. At the nearby Uig harbor, we stop for a relaxing lunch before continuing to explore the island.

After the rest, we can admire the waterfall that descends from the famous, symbolic Kilt Rock, and the last stop of the day will be perhaps the island’s most famous attraction, the dominant, rugged geological formation of the Old Man of Storr. After an all-day exploration, we are free to spend time in Portree again in the evening.

After breakfast we leave our accommodation and leave the island of Skye behind. After an hour’s drive we reach our first stop, which will be Scotland’s most famous and most visited castle, the Eilean Donan.

After touring the castle, we visit the long-awaited Loch Ness to do try and find Nessie. Here you will have the opportunity for a short boat trip on the lake, which is sure to be a lasting experience.

We then have a delicious lunch in Inverness, and head south to visit the battlefield of the famous Culloden, which was a symbolic event of the Scottish independence wars.

After visiting Culloden, we make our way to Edinburgh. In doing so, we pass through Scotland’s largest national park, Cairngorms, and stop for a short rest in the small Victorian town of Pitlochry.

We close our experience-filled journey in the evening in the capital.
